Who am I –

About me

Yoga teacher, mom, coach & IT employee

I used to think my life was boring. Today I look back and think “a little more stability would have been nice”.

But as the saying goes… the way is forward. And that’s exactly what I’ve experienced since I let yoga fully into my life. I started yoga in 2008, but until 2017 it was just a random part of my life. With the decision to do a yoga teacher training, this has changed. Since then, yoga has changed my life sustainably on all levels!

Today I am practicing Yoga on a daily basis. And it is really amazing how things have changed since then.

“If we do what we love and if we love what we do, then everything in our life will align accordingly and we will be able to face obstacles and challenges with strength, trust, courage and love.”

But still a little factual more about me.

I was born and raised in Meiningen. After graduating from high school, I first decided to do a bachelor’s degree in “Educational Sciences with a minor in Learning, Teaching and Training Psychology”. At that point in time, however, none of this was “handy” enough for me, which is why I completed my studies in “Business Informatics” after graduating. I then worked in this area for various companies in Stuttgart, Darmstadt and Berlin. To this day, I work in the field of computer science and am very happy with it. I was a successful self-employed web designer for 5 years and for various reasons I decided to work again as an IT employee – and I’m basically very happy.

But none of this has fully satisfied me over the years. I enjoy my work, yes… and a certain part was always missing. That has changed through and with yoga. I never used to think that I would teach one day and that it would also be fulfilling. But that’s exactly what it is. In addition to your own practice, it is a wonderful feeling to bring yoga closer to other people, to shape and change their lives with it. And yoga itself is for me a place of stillness, of unity with myself, of arriving at myself – an island in everyday life, just for me.

What life will bring for me now…I don’t know, but it will be fine!

I now live in Meiningen again and am the mother of a son.

And “on the side” I have completed further training in coaching (such as NLP), hypnosis and biography writing.

Today I combine everything in my work.

“Because in the end, the most important thing in everything we do is the relationships we have with other people and of course with ourselves.”
